The St. Francis College Literary Prize is a literary award given every two years. It was started in 2009. The prize, worth US$50,000, is awarded to an author for their third to fifth book of fiction. It is designed to provide encouragement and financial help to writers who are no longer eligible for awards for their first works. A jury selects the winner, who is invited to St. Francis College (SFC) in Brooklyn, New York, to give a speech. The winner is chosen from a narrowed-down list and announced at the Brooklyn Book Festival every September. However, SFC did not give the award in 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. No selection process has taken place, and no new winners have been chosen since that time.
