The Oceanos-Prêmio de Literatura em Língua Portuguesa (formerly known as the Portugal Telecom Prize for Literature) is a Brazilian literary award created in 2003 by Portugal Telecom. It is given every year to recognize works of literature written in Portuguese. Beginning in 2007, the award also considers books written in Portuguese from other countries.
In 2014, Portugal Telecom was purchased by a French company called Altice. Starting in 2015, the prize was renamed Oceanos-Prêmio de Literatura em Língua Portuguesa (Oceans-Portuguese Language Literature Prize) and is now supported by the Itaú Cultural foundation.
