The Joaquín Gallegos Lara National Fiction Prize (Spanish: Premio Nacional de Narrativa Joaquín Gallegos Lara) is given every year by the city government of Quito, Ecuador. It recognizes the best national works in three types: short stories, novels, and plays. The award is named after Joaquín Gallegos Lara, an Ecuadorian novelist who lived from 1909 to 1947.
