Asian American Literary Awards

The Asian American Literary Awards are given out each year by The Asian American Writers' Workshop since 1998. These awards recognize outstanding work in fiction, poetry, and nonfiction, selected by a group of judges from literature and schools. There is also a Members' Choice Award, which is decided by the Workshop's members from the entries of that year.

There is also a Members' Choice Award, which is decided by the Workshop's members from the entries of that year. Additionally, a Lifetime Achievement Award is presented. To qualify, a book must be written by someone of Asian descent living in the United States, published first in English, and entries are actively asked for by the Workshop.
