The DSC Prize for South Asian Literature is an international award given each year to writers of any background who write about South Asia. Topics include culture, politics, history, and people. The prize is for an original complete novel written in English or translated into English.

The award is given for novels published in the year before the judging process. The winner receives 25,000 USD. The prize was created in 2010 by Surina Narula and Manhad Narula. Its goal is to highlight the best writing about South Asia and share it with people around the world. Only writers from South Asian countries are honored for their work. These countries include Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. The 2020 prize was delayed because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Although the tenth edition was planned for 2021, the DSC Prize for South Asian Literature has not been given since 2019.
