The Premio Bancarella is an Italian literary prize created in 1953. It is presented annually in Pontremoli during the last Saturday or Sunday of July.

Six books are chosen for the Premio Selezione Bancarella. Booksellers vote to select the winner. The prize is given during the final evening of the event.

In 2024, the Premio Bancarella is celebrating its 72nd edition.

Premio Bancarella della Cucina

The Premio Bancarella della Cucina, started in 2006, is given out by the Fondazione Città del Libro and the Accademia Italiana della Cucina. Its goal is to support and celebrate the traditional food customs and culture of Italy.
