The Native Writers' Circle of the Americas (NWCA) is a group for writers who are Native American, First Nations, or have Native American heritage. Each year, the organization gives literary awards to writers in three categories. These awards are decided by voting among member writers.

The NWCA, along with its sister group, the Wordcraft Circle of Native Writers and Storytellers, was created after the 1992 "Returning the Gift" Native Writers' Festival. This event brought together writers from Canada, the United States, Mexico, and Central America. The NWCA keeps contact details for Native American writers and collects Native American literature. The organization has been supported by the University of Oklahoma’s Native American Studies department and is now based in the Department of English.
