The Premanand Suvarna Chandrak, also known as the Premanand Gold Medal, is a literary award given every two years, sometimes every year, to a well-known Gujarati writer. The award honors and encourages outstanding achievements in Gujarati literature. It is presented by the Premanand Sahitya Bhavan in Vadodara, an institute dedicated to literature. The award is named after Premanand Bhatt, a famous Gujarati poet. The institute was first created in 1916 as the Gujarati Sahitya Sabha and later renamed the Premanand Sahitya Bhavan in 1944. The medal was first introduced in 1983.
